Through out our lives we meet many unique individuals who have long lasting effects on us, enhancing our lives with many fond memories. Many of us share a part of our life with one or more special individuals of outstanding personality, character and devotion. Some are People and some are Pets.

A beautiful Memorial stone for a friend that has been a companion for many wonderful years cost about as much as a nice dinner out for two. The difference is that the stone is a beautiful piece of art that you personally took part in designing and choosing a suitable picture of a special occasion or a fitting graphic from our library of pet graphics.

I made this incredible stone for a family involved with friends of a larger variety. Their quarter horse shared 27 years with them. Imaging the relationship you would build with a friend over such a long lifetime.  I was proud to be part of this process  to make such an excellent memorial for a fine animal and the family who loved her.

To get started on your stone you will have to decide on the type of graphic you would like to place on it. Locate in your favorite photo's a few samples you can email them to me to see how well they will work. I can generally give you an idea pretty quick if the photo will be suitable or not. Digital or scanned photos can be e-mailed to me at jims@faithfulfriends.ca in JPG (JPEG) format as that is the best way to send data. A JPG image is compressed up to 15 times smaller so it will email faster over the web and not fill my mailbox with a few images. I can also use BMP (BITMAP) files but they will take a long time to send if you are not on a high speed internet connection. 

If you are going to scan them please make sure you crop the size down as much as possible and scan at a minimum of 300 DPI. If you cannot find one I have a fairly large collection of graphics that I can help you choose from. We also need to chose a phrase and decide if you would like the dates of your departed friend on the stone as well. I suggest using the months in abbreviated form so that it leaves more room for a special message for your pet. 

I will prepare a proof and email it to you so you will have an idea of the final appearance of your completed memorial project.

and the very touching RAINBOW BRIDGE

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
